What is St. Mary's Polyclinic?
Established in 1984, St. Mary's Polyclinic (SMPC) is registered as a non-profit organization according to the Uttar Pradesh Societies Registration Act of 1860 under No. 753. As a non-profit health care institution, SMPC promotes and emphasizes both curative and preventive care, by combining institutionalized referrals with community-based education programs. St. Mary's Polyclinic is located 8 km north of Central Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India in order to provide access to low cost, high quality health care for poor and disenfranchised people from both urban and rural areas who cannot afford regular health care.
Inspired and supported by Capuchins all over the world, SMPC always remembers and promotes the compassion of Late Rev. Fr. Peter Degli Esposti and Rev Fr. Norbert Bucci of Shanti Nagar, Gonda.
Since its founding, SMPC has improved its facilities and expanded its outpatient and inpatient services to include super specialties, such as Neurology, Urology, Cardiology, Oncology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, etc. Offering such a wide range of services allows SMPC to treat patients with almost all types of illnesses under one roof and provides the surrounding area of Lucknow with a hospital that can address any and all types of life threatening emergencies.
We understand that entering a hospital can be confusing and overwhelming for patients and their loved ones. That is why we place great importance on being a "family-centered" hospital. Our staff is committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care to each and every one of our patients and is also sensitive and responsive to the issues facing their families and support network.
